On the road to Cape Hatteras, Outer Banks, North Carolina

Wednesday, June 9: We're off to our next adventure!!!!! After a delish breakfast (made by mua) we headed out of the Myrtle Beach KOA enroute to the Cape Hatteras KOA. Publio drove most of the way until he was falling asleep. I drove for about 2 hours. mostly country roads with no traffic. Thank God!!!! We traveled north on highway 17 most of the way. Lots of interesting small towns. We drove by New Bern, the birth place of Pepsi Cola.

As we approached the Outer Banks, the scenery changed... more bridges...more water....

Our campground is really cool... really laid back... my kind of laid back keyz style place...

While I made dinner, Publio went out in search of ice and found out about a cool bar to go to at night... really close to our cg and with live music. We met lots of interesting people here, even the owner. We also met the first spanish speaking person in our trip so far. LOL!

We came back to the CG and went for a walk on the beach. It was DARK!!!!

And then to bed!!!
