Beach Day... Cape Hatteras... Outer Banks... North Carolina

Thursday, June 10: What a glorious day!!!! We spent most of the morning and early afternoon lounging lazily on the beach with Teddy.

We drove down to the next town called Salvo to look for a drug store and do some groceries. It was like 20 miles away, but a beautiful ride.... lots untouched land, some little shops and plenty of beach....

After stopping for fresh seafood to make dinner we headed back "home". I made a "paella-style" dish with what I had available and we enjoyed it thoroughly.... I made enough to have for lunch tomorrow.... YUMMY!!!!

And then an early night.....
