Sunday, June 6: Ready to go to the next stop.... but we noticed one of our new tires was flat (or so we thought). It turned out to be that it needed air due to a malfunctioning piece but Publio had to take the tire off (not an easy thing to do) and put air in it. Thankfully, there are LOTS of really helpful people in the RV world like Art and Bill. Art let us borrow his air compressor and Bill let us borrow his jack. After a few hours we were done and ready to go.
After having lunch with David, we set off to Camping World in Savannah. We were looking to either fix or change out the A/C. On the way, we went through a pretty scary storm and one of our wipers shredded, so Publio "fixed" it temporarily with a sponge. LOL!
We boondocked in the Camping World Savannah parking lot..... had some wine, cheese, and salami... watched "The Reagan's" and then went for a late walk with Teddy.
Monday, June 7: Savannah CW couldn't fix our a/c so we drove to Myrtle Beach CW and we purchaed a new a/c and got it installed. Now our RV is nice AND cold. WOOHOO!!!! We arrived at the KOA in Myrtle Beach shortly thereafter. This place is lovely.... nice shaded campsites.... free cable and wi-fi... met the neighbors from Kansas... nice people... made some churrasco with asparagus, went for a walk and had a relaxing evening at HOME....
Happy Travels!!!!
