Our first BIG trip

Sooooooo...... we are finally taking our first BIG trip for our 25th anniversary. We have been planning this trip for almost 6 months now. I'm really excited because we are 10 days from TAKE OFF... WOOHOO!!! I'm so happy!!! This can be THE trip to help us decide what we want to do when we "GROW UP"!!! LOL! Well, we ARE grown up but we have entered a new phase in our life and we want to do somethings differently.

Anyways, although we don't have a CONCRETE plan as where we are going and for how long, we DO have an idea of the areas we want to visit. We will start by visiting our son, David, in Jacksonville.

Then we plan to head north and visit some beach areas like Myrtle Beach, the Outer Banks of North Carolina and hopefully make it ALL the way to Toronto to visit our friends, Roger and Monica. We want to visit some of the Virginia wineries and drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also want to visit our friends, Dave and Lauren (and their gorgeous kids) in North Carolina.... my Godparents and cousins in Tampa and whoever else we meet along the way.

So far we are about 75% ready. We still need to pack our clothes and food but I think everything else is ready to go.

AND we are taking Teddy with us. Our baby!!!!!

It will be interesting how he behaves. I've researched all the pet friendly places we can go with him because I don't want to leave him alone in the RV....... although sometimes he's going to have to stay.... BUT since he's got separation anxiety, we've bought him a play pen and LOTS of toys so he won't FREAK.... he'll freak anyways.. lol....
